Tour Description
- A sample tour in Bordeaux will be for 3/4 days (Friday to Monday), guided leisurely from vineyard to restaurant to places of interest to the wine lover.
- The tour will be for 8-16 people.
- Join us in our quest for fabulous food and great wine
- You will taste, enjoy and learn more about wine in a convivial atmosphere.
DAY 1 Welcome drinks reception
- Dinner in gastronomic restaurant matching the local cuisine with the wine.
DAY 2 Day tour of Medoc
- Visit to one of the top classified wine producing chateaux.
- Cellar and vineyard tour and learn about their terroir, winemaking and wine.
- Taste their wines.
- Travel the wine route to view the classified wine chateau of Margaux, St.Julien, Pauillac and St. Estephe.
- Lunch for tour group in a restaurant in Medoc.
- Visit to a ‘Wild Geese’ chateau and trace their Irish roots.
- Cellar visit and taste their wines.
- Option to browse in a Margaux or Pauillac wine emporium.
- Dinner with tour group in a traditional Bordeaux restaurant.

DAY 3 Day tour of St. Emilion
- Option to visit wine sensorial centre, with 3D displays, video shows on the vine calendar and on barrel making, followed by wine tasting.
- Visit to a Grand cru wine chateau-to include the underground limestone cellars and tasting of their wines, in the town of St. Emilion.
- Lunch for tour group in the heart of St. Emilion.
- Time to visit the historical sights and the speciality shops of St. Emilion.
- Dinner with tour group in a Bordeaux brasserie.
DAY 4 Guided tour of Bordeaux
- Free time to enjoy the culture and shopping of Bordeaux.
- Depart for airport.

- Direct return flights from Dublin to Bordeaux with Aer Lingus. Inclusive of taxes and one piece of checked in luggage (20kgs).
- 3 nights B&B in a quality hotel in the heart of Bordeaux city.
