Day 1
- Depart Dublin/ Lisbon.
- Transfer to Evora (Unesco World Heritage City and capital city of Alentejo.)
- Lunch en route.
- Guided vineyard and cellar visit to Herdade da Ravasqueira followed by a wine tasting.
- Accommodation in M’ar de Ar Timeless Charm Hotel.(4 star). Evora.
- Dinner at an authentic Alentejo restaurant in Evora.
Day 2
- Visit to Alentejo Wine Routes Interpretation Centre- Sensorial explanation of Portuguese grape varieties.
- Time to explore Evora’s heritage.
- Lunch in Evora.
- Transfer to Reguengos de Monsaraz for a guided vineyard and cellar visit of
- Herdade de Esporao, followed by a wine tasting.
- Departure to Portel. Check in at Refugio da Vila ( 4 star country hotel with gastronomic restaurant). Dinner at hotel.
Day 3
- Guided visit to Herdade dos Grous cellars followed by a wine tasting and a wine buying opportunity.
- Food and wine matching lunch at Malhadinha Nova, vineyard restaurant. Pairing their quality wines with gastronomic local produce.
- A unique opportunity to view the 2000 acre property of Malhadinha Nova by 4×4 Jeep. Animals in the wild, magnificent landscape, country hotel with spa retreat and manicured vineyards.
- Return to Refugio da Vila. Dinner at hotel.
Day 4
According to flight time, departure to Faro or Lisbon airport.

Alentejo Wine Tour – Independent Traveller
The Alentejo is an extensive region covering almost a third of Portugal. Essentially rural and sparsely populated, it offers an unspoilt landscape. It’s scenic beauty, and the abundance and quality of it’s heritage make it an exceptional place to visit.
Day 1
- Depart Dublin/ Lisbon. Welcomed by land representative at Lisbon airport.
- Transfer to Evora. (Unesco World Heritage City). Accommodation at Best Western Hotel. (3 star). City centre.
Day 2
- Free time to discover the city ( many restaurants and attractions within walking distance).
Day 3
- Option to visit Herdade de Ravasqueira with guided visit to vineyard and cellars.
- Visit to Alentejo Wine Routes Interpretation Centre- Sensorial Interpretation of Portuguese grape varieties.
Day 4
- Travel to medieval fortified village of Monsaraz where time has stood still for centuries. Discover the landscape, the Alqueva artificial lake and the magnificent views.
- Accommodation at Casa Saramago, rural B&B.
Day 5 – 7
Drive to Portel, crossing the Alqueva Lake ( the largest artificial lake in Europe, with it’s chic marina development). Through Mourao, discover the recreated Aldeia da Luz and Estrela villages, constructed since the Dam flooded their original villages. Check in to Refugio da Vila, Portel.(4 star country hotel with gastronomic restaurant and cookery school). Option to partake in a cookery class/workshop. Portel is ideally situated to discover some of the local cellars and taste their outstanding regional wines.eg; Malhadinha Nova, Herdade dos Grous and Casa Santa Vitoria.
Day 8
According to flight times, departure for Faro/Lisbon International Airport.
Tour to include
